Tom P
Tom P started rapping at the age of 12 back when people strived to be the best at this craft. Instead of making silly dance songs to sell ring tones. Fortunately, being the hardest working artist in Atlanta has undisputidly propelled Tom P to the top of the scene. He has headlined, organized, and promoted his own events bringing out thousands of fans on many occasions, and has performed with artists like B.O.B, Killer Mike, Nappy Roots, Pac Div, Psyche Origami, Gorilla Zoe, Pill, A. Leon Craft (Bakwudz), The Youngbloodz, Dungeon Family, and toured with Bone Thugs N Harmony… to name a few.. He has helped create promotional companies in Atlanta like Speakeasy and Jump Off, was featured at the A3C last year, and has spreads in magazines like Creative Loafing and other local publications..
HERES THE KICKER…. He has done all this BY HIMSELF!! No label, manager, booking agent, or financial backing… personally funding shows while helping create platforms for other struggling artists in Atlanta. Not to mention being considered HANDS DOWN one of the DOPEST rappers in the game by anyone with a trained ear. Despite all of this, he does not always get the credit he deserves… because these days we live in an era where rappers are defined by swagger and worship those who can buy themselves into the game instead of raw talent and hard work. However, what Tom P has done is UNHEARD OF for an independent artist and he is still grinding every day. Tom P is not just another guy trying to rap, he is a movement and a testament that talent, hard work and dedication will pay off… But it all depends on one thing…
YOU!!!! This is why your support is so appreciated!! You are joining thousands of like-minded people who want to be part of the fastest growing movement in Atlanta that supports one of the realest kids out here, all banding together to say that we support GOOD HIP HOP..

Lazymane & Kosherbeets
At this point, Lazy Mane & Kosherbeets are young veterans of the Atlanta rap game. They’ve been selling CDs by the hundreds since high school, and in recent years have built a music studio, taking time to perfect recording and mixing techniques. Thus, their masterwork – Supreme I.N.K. – has finally arrived. Boasting a particular brand of southern funk, the two rapper/producers blend styles as though two pieces of an ancient puzzle. More accurately stated: the tightness is undeniable.

Time Haters
The most diabolical group of rappers this side of the Mississippi, hating on a variety of mark-ass-tricks, trick-ass-marks, skips, skaps, scallywags, skeezers, and hoes.Silky J and PMC both live in Atlanta and have roots on the East Coast. Time Haters love good music and are influenced by all genres of music. We’re here do our thing and we could give a fuck about what anyone else is doing because we are gonna stay true to ourselves and our music. PMC was born in Atlanta and moved to Baltimore at the age of 4 and moved back to the A in 2004. Silky J was born and raised in Lynchburg, Virginia then moved to Atlanta at the age of 16 in 2003. PMC and Silky happened to meet through mutual friends in 2006. In 2009 they became good friends, and realized that both loved freestyling and the same kind of music. So they brought their hateful thoughts together to form the TIME HATERS.

D.R.E.S Tha BEATnik
Human Beatboxer… MC… Host… Lecturer… Ambassador… These are only a few words to describe a True Talent. Originally from the City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia “Illadelph” PA, Andre Lett, a.k.a. “D.R.E.S. tha BEATnik,” currently resides in Atlanta, GA, and has been described as a multi-talented phenomenon. His name is an acronym for the Divine Real Essence of Sound (D.R.E.S.). Creative Loafing recently named D.R.E.S. “Best Vocalist” in their Best of Atlanta 2002 issue, calling him the “rockingest esophagus in town.” D.R.E.S. simultaneously brings a unique perspective to the art of beatboxing and the culture of hip-hop.
D.R.E.S. tha BEATnik has been compared to artists such as Rahzel the Godfather of Noize, Bobby McFerrin, Doug E. Fresh, and Biz Markie. In addition to the artists mentioned, D.R.E.S. tha BEATnik has also taken the stage with Black Eyed Peas, KRS-One, MF Doom, Busta Rhymes, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Slick Rick, Mos Def, Jurassic5, Dilated Peoples, Public Enemy, Talib Kweli, De La Soul, Rakim, Del the Funkee Homosapien, DJ Krush, Massinfluence, the Roots, Kanye West, DJ Green Lantern, Common, and Erykah Badu. D.R.E.S. tha BEATnik also lent his talents to Open Transport, a nationally-distributed video compilation featuring Pharoahe Monch, Reflection Eternal, and many other underground hip-hop artists.
To really get an understanding of D.R.E.S. tha BEATnik’s talents, take a listen to his first solo offering, Have Mic… Will Travel — the first 100% beatbox produced album in the history of hip-hop. Within the project, the listener can hear D.R.E.S. integrate the sounds of drum machines, turntables, acoustic bass, horns, and melodies to put together a complete sound.
In 2002, D.R.E.S. released his second album – Have Mic… Will Travel: The Live Experience, the album recorded at the Apache Café in Atlanta, contains live renditions of songs from D.R.E.S.’ first album, as well as, new material. Artists featured on the album include, Atlanta favorites Chiedza, Slick & Rose, and DJ Rasta Root. Backing D.R.E.S. is Live Wax, his 4-piece band.
His stage shows are similar to an audio time machine, taking the audience from the roots of hip-hop, to its ever-changing present sound, and on into its very bright future. As the Southeast Performer put it, “Have Mic… Will Travel is hip-hop incarnate – her past, present, and future. Here you will find a balance of great song concepts, sound lyrical content, and dope execution of skills… DRES is indeed a legend in the making.”
D.R.E.S. lent his talents to Showtime Networks in 2003 for a Hip Hop MC Battle Reality Show called, ”Interscope Presents: The Next Episode” – A 6 Part Series that followed the Highs and Lows of 10 MC’s to find the Country’s next top MC. The show had D.R.E.S. working with the likes of Cee-Lo Green of Goodie Mob & Gnarls Barkley fame, MC Lyte, Rapper Proof of D-12, Tommy Lee of Motley Crue fame, DJ Green Lantern & Xzibit. The show, as well as, D.R.E.S. was well received among Hip Hop’s Elite.
Always embarking on new adventures, in 2006, D.R.E.S. toured the People’s Republic of China alongside Public Enemy’s Own DJ Lord. The 6-Week experience placed D.R.E.S. in front of Thousands of Fans who had only heard of Him on record. While in China, D.R.E.S. also made time to host a number of Hip Hop Clinics in which he educated the Youth of China on the Culture of Hip Hop, as well as, the responsibility of keeping the Culture of Hip Hop alive. He also took the time to film his accounts in China for a documentary called “The Beatnik Chronicles”. “I wanted to do this so that the world can see for itself what its like to live in China… I’m always looking to make a mark in the world and I believe that Hip Hop is the key to communicating with the Youth”, D.R.E.S. said in a recent interview. “The Role or Responsibility of an Artist is to advance civilization, as we know it.”
The Year 2007 proved to be a Year of Milestones for D.R.E.S. tha BEATnik. In June of 2007, A painting of D.R.E.S. tha BEATnik created by Atlant Visual Artist Corey Whithead was comissioned to appear on the Barbershop Set of TBS’ House Of Payne. The show debuted to a Record 5.8 million total viewers and 3.1 million adults 18-49 and has the distinction of being The highest rated telecast in the history of TBS. Also in October of that same year, D.R.E.S. entered a National Competition sponsored by SCION to find the Country’s Best Live Show Host. The Competition called the SCION HYPEMAN Contest pitted D.R.E.S. against close to 30,000 Contestants. When it was all said and done D.R.E.S. tha BEATnik emerged as The NUMBER ONE Live Show Host in The U.S. and was dubbed SCION HYPEMAN!!!
D.R.E.S.’ career started at a very young age — singing, dancing, MCing, and beatboxing. A former dancer for Russell Simmons’ Def Comedy Jam & member of The UNIVERSAL ZULU NATION & BEATBOXER ENTERTAINMENT. D.R.E.S. has been in the presence of many industry leaders who have helped him develop his unique style and presence. D.R.E.S. tha BEATnik is founder and C.E.O. of 4Kings Entertainment, an entertainment firm based in Atlanta, GA. He is also a professional master of ceremonies with over 5,000 shows under his belt and whom the Atlanta underground hip-hop massive has called “the Johnny Carson of Atlanta hip-hop.”

South City Riot
The darkened city was engulfed in flames. The sound of breaking glass echoed across the landscape sending shattered tones of chaos through all ears close enough to hear them. Sirens blared in declaration, a warning of dissent in the city boiled over upon itself. Those in the thick of the upheaval would speak of the ground itself quaking beneath them, threatening to swallow whole the rising vitriolic tide of revolution. Angry, looting bodies filled the burning streets taking all their arms could carry. Fists pumped in the air, a violent show of hands united in mutiny. They had enough. They were tired, they were hungry, and they were taking back what was theirs by any means necessary. All bets were off and numbers were up. The people had become a live grenade, pin pulled hurtling toward their destination, to explode on impact in the fiery culmination of their resistance. This was the South City Riot, and it sounded like nothing else the world had seen. It would not be forgotten.

A wise man took his son hunting one day. From way up in a tree and dressed as colorful fruit – orange, maybe? No. Tangerine! – the father looks at his son, as a sage imparting wisdom and advice that would stay with him forever: “Fruit don’t talk. Fruit just listens.”

Baqwah
This project started as a hobby for Jon Rohrbaugh,And two brothers Matt , and Wade Smith.Jon having come from a long life of playing in bands such as local mid to late 90..s act BONEDANCE with him ,and his brother Bacchus ,Brian garmon, and Eric faulk.Brothers, wade and Matt had been playing together in church . Jon ,came to long time friend Matt ,and said, I want to start a band with you ,and they started to play around with some riffs that Jon had been working on. Then they decided it was worth getting some one to play the drums, and after long hard thought. Matt said ,i work best with my brother .So Jon wade and Matt got together in Jon’s basement.Resulting in a bundle of coming out of the smoke ,lifting through the fog ,,scratchy, melodic ,while yet dynamic riffs. When they came to the point of thinking about a singer. They knew who they wanted but had not seen him in years.Bacchus ,was playing guitar and singing in a local act MISTAKEN FOR THEM,+ others in the past such as BIRTH,and BONDANCE.He was found on his death bed. After many months of him being at Grady hospital.Bacchus makes a recovery and is released to go home and rehabilitate. After loosing over seventy percent of the muscle in his right leg, and having to have dialysis for failed kidneys, and having two tubes in his lungs ,four months later steps foot in Jon’s basement out of they fog ,and scratched from life’s hard breaks. And writes lyrics and melodies for 9 songs in one week.At the end of that week ,being Jon’s brother in law Brian Garmon the long lost bad ass rip in your face guitarist from BONEDANCE comes to make a family visit from south Carolina. Not knowing that we had it in our minds to make him move to Atlanta and complete this project of brothers and long time fiends.Brian goes back to Virginia with a plane to move to Atlanta ASAP.Around one month later he is moved ,AND in June of 2009 , we have completed and formed the project known as BAQWAH.We are a band of long life friends and brothers .Each knowing the other for over a decade of life.We love what we do ,and who we do it with is just that much sweeter. We hope you like our sound and can enjoy it for years to come. BAQWAH, Jon , Matt, Wade, Bacchus, Brain.

Grotesqury
Grotesqury is a sci-fi rock band. The band was created to provide an escape from the world you know, and into a world you may have never know.
The music represents outer space, sometimes chaotic, and other times completely in harmony with the universe. Symbolism litters the dissonance with tales of apocalyptic-science fiction, and not-so science fiction. The band is represented best by the songs “evidencemeansnothintohumans” (which is explained entirely by its title), and the more crowd-pleasing song “battleofla” which was created in hopes to enlighten listeners with a little-known encounter with U.S. Military and a UFO during WWII.
Grotesqury aims to make people question the world around them, to make them see that things are not always what they seem. They wish to shine light on humanity’s denial of the paranormal, and they hope to inspire individuals to find out more about the lyrical content.
Get ready to be taken to another universe as Capsule Corp invades TNS with their trademark style that is both dance-able and challenging to the ear. Also, our good friends and Atlanta standouts The Funky Fiasco and The Standard will be performing. 21+, 11:00pm to 2:30am, bring your drinkin’ face! After the show, music will be spinnin by DJs Hipnotikk, MBP, Chrissie, & Sean Z.

Asphalt Valentine
Rock and Roll; an oft used term in music, yet seldom correctly. There is so much more than just playing songs really loudly. Arrogant swagger, infectious groove, unbridled sexuality, heart racing rhythm, undeniable passion, swing, sway, and soul are what separate Rock and Roll from the rest of its musical counterparts. ASPHALT VALENTINE is without a doubt aRock & Roll Band. Five Atlanta based musicians got together to combine all those aspects of the ’spirit’ of Rock and Roll. “How’s about you and me, mix a little gasoline, just to see how long, we can make it burn”. That being said, the band set out to write and perform songs with that tone in mind. Influenced by every musical note they have ever heard, ASPHALT VALENTINE fused them all together: the attitude of punk, the glam of decadence, the melody of pop, the blare of hard rock, the naiveté of youth, the worn weariness of country, and the soul of the rhythm and the blues.. After a few lineup changes over the years, ASPHALT VALENTINE finally found the perfect combination of seasoned veteran musicians to fulfill their quest to rock n’ roll. 2009, the year the world gets to Strip Rock Roll!

Jazzmatic
http://www.myspace.com/jazzmatic
From the band’s myspace: “I’m Will Culbreath, Keyboardist for Jazzmatic. Born in upstate New York and grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. My father and everyone who loved music inspired me. I never tried to play like the other organist around. I just wanted to take an artistic approach with the instrument, that’s my style. I could give a long list of artists I’ve played for and you would say: “I didn’t know that” or “that group stank” or “that’s where I’ve seen him”. Identify me with Jazzmatic, because, I had reached a point in my career where people enjoyed my music just as much as the artists material I work so hard to learn and perform. I knew that it was time to move into my zone were the notes never stop flying. Jazzmatic brings out the wild, untamed side of my life and writing. Can you imagine a live show where you had to wear a diaper, because the show never slowed down to break to the bathroom, thats a performance!” **************************************************************** Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. I’ve been blessed to have played music for over 25 years as a Drummer and Percussionist in Jazz, African and Latin realms. Jazzmatic is one of the most powerful forces in music today. Miles and I have simular music concepts, because there is always a melody within a melody. One Love, Yahannes
